Where is Mactan Island Aquarium? Please use the map opposite to find our exact location. You could print it off and carry it. The Mactan Island Aquarium is located in Barangay Maribago on the main highway around the island - just near White Sands Resort and EGI Condominium Hotel. There is plenty of free parking and we can even accommodate coach parking on site. How much does it cost to visit the Aquarium? Filipinos and Philippine residents rates are100 pesos for adults, 75 for children (4-12 years old). Below 4 years old are free, if they are with their parents. Overseas visitor rates are 250 pesos for adults, 200 pesos for children (4-12 years old). Again, kids under 4 years old are free. What can we see at the Aquarium? Click here to see the other part of our website with some details of our exhibitions. What is included in the admission fee? Each paid admission includes a personal guided tour of the exhibits from a highly trained employee, in English or Bisaya. Kids can freely use the puzzles and coloring materials and leave their artwork in the kiddies corner. What are the Aquarium opening hours? The Aquarium is open seven days a week, from 10am until 6pm daily. How can I get to the Aquarium? Jeepney, tricycle, private car, taxi, walk! Beware of taxi drivers; sadly, some drivers try to overcharge their passengers. Always insist on them using the meter. All genuine taxis do have meters, even if some drivers try to hide them. Pay the rate shown on the meter and not more. Don't agree on a "fixed price" just step out and get a different taxi if the driver insists. Are there sharks in the Aquarium? Yes, real sharks from the ocean - blacktip reef sharks - they have been known to attack humans, so we have them safely out of reach for your eyes only...
