Where is Mactan Island Aquarium?
Just minutes from the international airport and most resorts on the island, or around 30 minutes from downtown Cebu City, The Mactan Island Aquarium is located in Barangay Maribago on the main highway around the island - just near White Sands Resort and Imperial Palace Hotel. It may be reached by private car, taxi, tricycle, jeep or coach. There is ample free parking and we can even accommodate coach parking on site.

Beware of some drivers and guides:
Sadly, some (not all) drivers may try to overcharge you for travelling here; a taxi from anywhere in Cebu City should be less than 300 pesos, or less than 200 pesos from anywhere on Mactan Island. 

Also some (not all) drivers will tell you the aquarium is “no good” and then tell you to go some other place, such as a restaurant, where they will receive a large payment from the owner (which will be hidden in the cost of your bill).  We suggest you always ask the taxi driver to use the meter.
